Turkey Enchilada Casserole

1 can (16 oz) tomato sauce
1 can (4 oz) chopped mild green chilies drained
1 garlic clove, crushed
1 T chili powder
2 t ground cumin
1 t dried oregano
1/4 t ground black pepper
8 oz cooked turkey, unsliced
1 bunch green onions
9 corn tortillas, cut in half
2 1/2 cups grated cheddar cheese

Preheat oven to 375
Combine first 7 ingredients
Cube turkey.
Cut green onions into thin slices


Line bottom with 6 tortillas halves
Spread 1/3 sauce cover with 1/2 turkey 1/2 onions and 1 c cheese
Top with 6  tortillas, 1/2 remaining sauce, all turkey and green onions and one more c of cheese
Top with remaining tortillas, sauce and 1/2 c cheese

Bake 25 minutes
Let stand 5 minutes
